Two Penalties, a red card, four & one yellow cards, three goals. Should’ve been a great and excellent win against West Brom for Liverpool, only it wasn’t. It was a loss.
In the opening match of the 2012-2013 season, Liverpool LOST 3-0 to West Brom, sending the Scousers to 18th on the table, and lifting Albion to third. Sure, it’s the first EPL game for the new manager, coaching staff, and some new players. But who did we play? Steve Clarke, our former head coach. We should have done a lot better.
Two penalties against Liverpool in the second half. Four yellow cards against us. One straight-red to Daniel Agger in the 58th minute to lead to one of those penalties. Three goals and the nightmare ended.
Needless to say, Liverpool definitely has room for improvement this season.
